Testimonials from students "The Program Director helped me with my academic program. He also spent time with me helping me adjust to Canadian Life. I have been here for three years, and now I will graduate in June and attend university in Vancouver." Carlos (Columbia)
I can just say that I really loved my stay in Canada and I didn’t feel sorry for a second that I decided to come here. To all students who might read this: Make an exchange, it is really worth! And a small hint for everyone: Canadians are extremely friendly and it’s not hard making friends with them; be outgoing and make a facebook account (www.facebook.com) – everyone has it here! - Viki (Austria)
I also felt pretty comfortable at school. The teachers were very helpful and supported me all the time. Though my general school day was longer than in Germany I liked it better due to the many different subjects one could choose, the engagement of the teachers and the relaxed atmosphere during the whole day.
To put it in a nutshell, I would recommend anybody who is willing to experience something new and open for absolutely everything, to go abroad for a while. For me this step into the unknown was a big success. I’m still staying in touch with quite a few friends of mine and I’m personally seeing them again in this fall when I’ll come back for a visit. -Oliver (Germany)
I totally appreciate what you are doing for your students in order to make their stays an experience as good as possible. I want to thank you for being there for me whenever i needed to talk to you about something. I could also always talk to my hostmother when I had any questions about life, family or school. She is the greatest mum I could get. My hostdad works a lot, so my relationship is not as close as mine to my host mom, but when he is around we get along with each other pretty well. He is like a buddy for me because he always takes me to trips like fishing, playing music or just visiting some friends.
My life out of school is filled with a lot of different things: I am practicing my drums, doing different kind of sports, writing a book about Canada, hanging out with friends a lot, and, of course, still have some time for my hostfamily which is very important for our relationship. I also took part in almost all of the International Trips offered by you. I went to Whistler, I stayed in Vancouver over night, I was snowboarding on Mount Washington, I tried out Curling,...I can just say: It was so much fun and I really look forward to taking part in the trips for the second semester!
